There are several ways you could author a book.
But most of them involve some kind of trade-off. In some cases, they may even cross an unacceptable red line or compromise your ethics.
Take ghostwriting, for example.
If you hire a good one, it makes “authoring” a book ridiculously easy. However, what you end up with is a book that isn’t really yours. It’s not your own work.
Not your own thoughts or ideas. Perhaps not even the kind of advice or information you would want to share with your clients.
So, for most attorneys, especially those who care for more than just their reputation and don’t want clay feet, hiring a ghostwriter isn’t an option.
What about writing a book yourself?
