Joseph Lesniak earned his bachelor’s degree, Cum Laude, from Villanova University in 2000. He went onto receive his Juris Doctorate from the Villanova University School of Law in 2003. After law school, Mr. Lesniak served in the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office for over nine years. He spent much of that time in the Special Victims Domestic Violence Division prosecuting hundreds of cases concerning sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence. While with that division, he served as the Chief and lead prosecutor of the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (ICAC) under a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice. The Taskforce investigates and prosecutes instances of internet exploitation and child pornography. Throughout his career, Mr. Lesniak has helped to create and teach the policies and techniques utilized across the Commonwealth, which in turn have led to many successful prosecutions of child exploiters both state and federally.

Additionally, Mr. Lesniak is an adjunct professor of Political Science at the Pennsylvania State University, a former chairman of the Delaware County Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board, and a former member of the Board of the Delaware County Bar Association. He has also served as the President of the Guy G. deFuria Inn of Court.

Since 2012, he has been the principal lawyer at the Law Offices of Joseph Lesniak, LLC located in Media, Pennsylvania. Whereas the firm primarily concentrates on areas of criminal and municipal law, its specific focus of expertise lies within providing legal counsel concerning sexually based crimes.
