For up to 30 minutes, we will:

• Get clarity on your goals – for most of our first-time authors, this means authoring a “lead magnet” book that will attract, qualify, and close more of the clients you want, i.e. your ideal client.
• Brainstorm content ideas and angles – based on your unique career history, professional background, and areas of specialization, and considering the kind of information your intended reader will find compelling.
• Agree on a high-level outline of your new book – your assigned consultant will use this outline to formulate the interview questions that he or she will use to “extract” your content and produce the first rough draft.
• Talk through the terms of the project – fees, timelines, all the deliverables and intellectual property rights you will receive at the end (plus, the $7,164 of bonus deliverables and services you will receive).
• ‘Aye’ or ‘Nay’ – you will have the opportunity to pull the trigger on this, and set your book project into motion, or for any reason at all or no reason whatsoever, to pass on this opportunity with no hard feelings.

All we ask is that you lay down a $500 refundable deposit today.

This deposit is to protect our consultants’ time. The only circumstances in which you won’t get this $500 back is if, even after agreeing on a mutually convenient date and time, you fail to show up for the Discovery Consultation without giving our consultant enough notice or making reasonable effort to reschedule. And this is entirely fair, right?

This $500 locks in your place on our project calendar, yet it confers no obligation on you to continue with this project. By the time we get to the end of the Discovery Consultation call, if you’re not excited about the direction that we are taking your book, or if you have any second thoughts about the project, just let us know before you hang up the phone, and we’ll refund this deposit. No questions. No talk of contracts. No hard feelings.
