The Law Offices Of Diane Anderson

My name is Diane Anderson and the name of my firm is the Law Office of Diane Anderson. The areas of law that I practice are bankruptcy, family law, and estate planning, which includes the creation of wills, trusts, advance healthcare directives, and financial powers of attorney.

All of us are on our own journey. More info le migliori slot machines gratis. Part of my husband’s and my journey involved losing our business and then losing our house, which was one of the last remaining assets we had. This forced us into bankruptcy in September of 1995; this was a humbling and extremely difficult time in my life.

We filed bankruptcy because after almost two years of trying to hang on there was no end in sight. In less than two years, we lost everything. We were both devastated and ended up going our separate ways.

Soon after, I began working as a courtesy clerk at Safeway; I needed medical insurance for myself and my daughters. I had left Canada at age 19 without finishing my undergraduate degree, and honestly, I was in a bind. Working at Safeway was a wonderfully humbling experience, and it helped me realize that I needed to make a change in order to obtain the life and career I truly desired. I decided to return to school for night classes, which was a decision that prompted a very interesting nine-year journey.

While working at safeway, I learned that life is not just about money but it is also how you can stretch your money to still live a happy life! It is also about how hard a person is willing to work for what they want and how they protect what they have.

As an attorney, I try to operate from this mindset and never lose sight of the importance of establishing a connection with each and every client and ensuring that they do not feel judged. I feel grateful for having dealt with the painful experience of bankruptcy because that’s what allows me to truly understand what my clients are going through. There is a stigma attached to bankruptcy, but it doesn’t make people criminals and it doesn’t mean that they are taking advantage of anything; it simply means they need a fresh start. By the time most of my clients show up at my office, they’re robbing Peter to pay Paul, like I did, and just trying to keep their heads above water. It’s an emotional time for almost everyone.

Everyone Has An Estate! Your Guide To Basics Of Estate Planning And Bankruptcy In California

This book is intended as an educational resource for anyone and everyone. When it comes to making decisions in life, I believe there is no such thing as having too much knowledge. This book is for the young couple who just got married and has a child, but it’s also for the elderly people who’ve yet to begin the estate planning process. During all stages of life, people should have documents that will protect them and their loved ones in the event of their death.

Bankruptcy can also be helpful for people of all ages. My youngest bankruptcy client was 22; he had a truck, a boat, and a ton of toys that were purchased with money that was never really his, and as a result, he couldn’t pay back everything he owed. Creditors help put clients in a dangerous position because “it is like a kid in a candy shop”! Creditors continue to give credit to debtors even after they should stop.

What I have learned and want to share with clients that “Nothing in life is guaranteed”, which means anyone could find themselves in a tough position and suddenly unable to deal with their debts.
