Benjamin Diederich, Esq.

I am Ben Diederich, owner of the Law Office of Benjamin Diederich. I started my legal career at an intellectual property boutique law firm, as a registered patent attorney. When my wife and I moved back to our suburban hometown in 2016, I decided to open my firm and no longer commute. Our firm handles intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. While we still love working with our intellectual property clients all around the country, when I opened my firm I wanted to have a practice area where I could work with the local community and help support it.

Specifically, I’ve gone through the loss of a parent, grandparents, and other family members, and I’ve seen what it looks like when you’ve done planning and what it looks like when you haven’t done planning. I wanted to help families avoid some of the issues that happen if you don’t do the planning, so I started to focus on estate planning in our practice and have never looked back. We love getting to know each family’s story, and help them move forward in a way where they know their family will avoid court and conflict when something does happen to them.
