Home » Authority Positioning Isn’t for Part-Timers
Interested in writing a book but don’t have the time? Our Speak-a-Book service helps attorneys author a book in as little as 2-3 hours. Request a complimentary sample book and info pack.
This blog is about one thing.
You becoming the authority in your metro/practice area.
When potentials land on your website and know immediately that you’re in a different category to the dozens of other attorneys on Google and Avvo.
When, at the end of your case review, instead of asking, “How much is this going to cost me?”, they ask: “How much will it cost me to hire YOU?”
When people brag about having you represent them.
This is what it means to be an authority.
There are very few attorneys who do not covet this positioning, especially among the more experienced ones who remember how the profession once was, back when lawyers didn’t have to chase clients for their business.
But most do not have this positioning.
Why?
Because they don’t want it bad enough.
Authority positioning doesn’t materialize overnight. It requires dedication, consistency, and a certain amount of relentless ambition. Sure, our Speak-a-Book service gives you a massive piece of the puzzle, in the form of a brand, spanking new authority book. But you still need to use that new book.
This is why we publish content every day.
And it’s the reason we don’t offer a weekly digest, for those attorneys who (for whatever reason) don’t want to be “bothered” about this each morning.
Because authority positioning isn’t for part-timers.
It’s for attorneys who are serious about building a profitable business. Attorneys who are hungry for new ideas, sound advice, and the inside scoop on what’s working for their peers in other metro or practice areas.
So hungry, they look forward to hearing from us every day.
If that’s not you, I welcome you to unsubscribe or unfollow.
(And, yes, I know what my name means in Italian, thank you very much.)
However, if authority positioning is something you want, and you’re willing to take one small step every day to build it, then stick around.
Because I have plenty of tips to share with you.
